Adams County Authorities Make Several Drug and Firearm Arrests

SPRINGVILLE, Wis. — A coordinated operation by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday led to the arrest of several individuals in connection with illegal drug activity and firearms possession in Adams County.

Deputies executed search warrants at three separate locations across the county:

  • The 400 block of Raymond Street in the Village of Friendship

  • The 1400 block of Evergreen Avenue in the Town of Easton

  • The 1000 block of Fern Avenue in the Town of Springville

The raids uncovered a significant amount of illegal substances and weapons, including:

  • Over 40 grams of methamphetamine

  • More than 40 grams of THC

  • 2.94 grams of fentanyl

  • 1.23 grams of cocaine

  • Drug paraphernalia such as smoking pipes and digital scales

  • A short-barreled shotgun

  • Two handguns

  • Ammunition and cash

Several individuals were taken into custody, while others had criminal charges referred to the Adams County District Attorney’s Office. The following suspects face various charges:

  • Cory Pagel, 31, of Adams – Felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a short-barreled shotgun, possession of drug paraphernalia

  • 40-year-old Friendship resident – Intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of THC, maintaining a drug trafficking site, unlawful possession of prescription medication, possession of paraphernalia

  • 35-year-old Friendship resident – Similar charges as above, including intent to deliver meth

  • 31-year-old Wisconsin Rapids resident – Obstructing an officer

  • 26-year-old Friendship resident – Drug paraphernalia possession, felony bail jumping

  • 58-year-old Friendship resident – Meth and THC possession, drug house maintenance

  • 31-year-old Friendship resident – Possession of meth and paraphernalia

  • 50-year-old Grand Marsh resident – Possession of meth, fentanyl, THC, and paraphernalia; operating a drug house

  • 36-year-old Grand Marsh resident – Possession of meth, cocaine, THC, and related paraphernalia; maintaining a drug trafficking location

  • 18-year-old Grand Marsh resident – Possession of drug paraphernalia

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing, and further charges could follow as evidence continues to be processed.
