LAKE DELTON, Wis. – Authorities are investigating after a woman was found dead Friday evening at a residence on Canyon Road in Lake Delton.
Lake Delton Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 300 block of Canyon Road. Upon arrival, officers from several law enforcement agencies discovered a deceased woman inside the home.
Officials have not yet released the woman’s identity, pending notification of her next of kin. Investigators say there is currently no threat to the public.

The Lake Delton Police Department is leading the investigation, with support from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and experts from the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratories.
